Abstract
The trend of cutting process today goes toward higher precision and higher efficiency. Many thermal/frictional troubles occur in high-speed machining of die and mold steels.In this paper, the thermal characteristics are evaluated in high sped ball end-milling of hardened steel(HRc42).
