The Analysis on the Effects of Wavewall in Mobile Communication

Recently, the use of mobile phone services has been tremendously increased. Thus, to prevent public nuisance related to mobile phone calls in specific locations such as theatres, contort halls or hospital. the use of the inhibiting equipment to deter communication over mobile phone etc.(hereinafter referred to as the “wavewall”) has been required. In this paper, we investigated the current status of wavewall for other countries and analyzed the effect on the mobile communication which is generated by using the wavewall.

최근 휴대전화의 보급에 따라 극장, 콘서트홀 병원 등의 공공장소에서 휴대전화의 호출음이 연주자나 관객에게 폐해를 주는 사례가 발생하고 있다. 따라서, 호출음 등에 의한 폐해를 방지하기 위해 휴대전화의 통신을 억제하는 기능을 갖는 무선국 즉, 전파차단장치(Wavewall)의 개설 필요성과, 규격에 대한 연구요구가 나타나고 있다. 본 논문에서는 전파차단창치가 이동통신에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 고려되어야 할 기본적인 파라메터들을 정의하고, 최소한의 규격을 수식적으로 조사·분석하였다.
