Abstract
In this paper, two different plusewidth modulation(PWM) for inverter and voltage control technique are described. Inverter output harmonics are harmful in induction motor drive because it lead to ripple torque and induction interference. In order to reduce or minimize losses, various forms of PWM strategy such as PM(Positive Modulation) and NM(Negative Modulation) are discussed.
